Step-by-Step Guide to Exports Contacts from the CRM

Note: You need an “admin” role to access the ‘export’ button; it will not be visible if you only have a “user” role.

  • Navigate to the "Contacts" Section

    • Click on the "Contacts" tab in the left-hand menu.

  • Select the Contacts to Export

    • Use filters to narrow down the specific contact(s) you want to export.

    • Utilize the checkboxes to select the specific contacts, or click the checkbox at the top to select all.

  • Click on "Export"

    • Once your contacts are selected, find and click the "Export" button, typically located at the top right.

  • Choose Export Format

    • Highlevel may prompt you to select the export format (usually CSV). Confirm your choice.

  • Download the File

    • Your browser will prompt you to download the CSV file containing the exported contacts. Save the file to your desired location.

  • Check Export Status

    • Navigate to the "Bulk Actions" menu at the top left corner of the screen to check the status of your export. This will provide updates on the export process and confirm whether it was successful.

  • Verify the Exported File

    • Open the CSV file to ensure that all necessary contact information has been exported correctly.
