How to Create (and Send) Snippets/Templates in the CRM

Hey there! Ready to save some time and automate your messages with templates? Let’s walk through the steps to create and send snippets in your CRM for smooth, personalized communication!


  1. Log in to the CRM via Desktop
    Head over to app.loansondemand.io and sign in using your credentials.




  2. Navigate to Conversations
    Once you're logged in, on the left side of your screen, click on Conversations to get started.





  3. Click on Snippets
    Within Conversations, you'll find Snippets. Go ahead and give that a click.




  4. Add a New Snippet
    Ready to create something new? Hit Add Snippet to start your template.




  5. Choose Text or Email
    You’ll get the option to choose whether you want a Text Snippet or an Email Snippet. For this tutorial, let’s select Add Text Snippet.




  6. Name Your Snippet
    Give your snippet a name that’s easy to recognize later! Something like "Follow-Up Text" or "Intro Message."




  7. Write Your Message
    Now, let's get to the fun part—crafting your message! Type your text in the box provided.




  8. Personalize with Custom Values
    Spice it up with some personalization! Use the Custom Values option (those icons above the text box) to make your message more relevant.

    • Need to insert the recipient’s first name? Click Custom Values > Contact > First Name, and boom! The system will automatically plug in their name every time this template is used.




    9. Add Emojis or Attach Files (Optional)

    Want to add a little personality? Throw in some emojis! Or, if you need to send attachments (like     docs or images), just attach the necessary files.




10. Preview and Test
Before saving, preview what your snippet looks like or send a test to your phone number to make sure everything’s spot on.



11. Save Your Snippet
Once you’re satisfied with your message, click Save. Yay! Your snippet is now ready to use.





How to Send Your Snippet:

  1. Open Any Conversation
    Navigate to a lead’s conversation in your CRM.

  2. Select the Insert Snippet Icon
    Find the paper icon below the message box, labeled Insert Snippet.

  3. Find Your Snippet
    You can either Search Snippets or choose one from the available list.

  4. Review & Send
    Your snippet text will automatically populate in the message box. If you need to make any last-minute changes, feel free! Otherwise, just hit Send.

  5. Scheduling Option (Optional)
    Want to schedule this message for later? Click the clock icon with an arrow next to Send, and choose your future send time.
